Your donation will help support autism education, awareness, advocacy and research and most importantly, enable us to assist families living with autism. Donations may be tax deductable. We will gladly send a notification of your gift.

Contributions of any amount can be made In Honor of or In Memory of special individuals to you. Just note that on your contribution and GHA will notify the recipients of your donation.

GHA uses PayPal for secure donations, accepting all major credit cards.

Other Ways to Donate to GHA

• Mail a check or send credit card information (MasterCard or Visa)

1. •Make a Yearly Pledge in any amount, which can be paid anually, quarterly or monthly. GHA will bill you for pledged amount.
   

2. •Contribute to the GHA Endowment. GHA has an endowment with the Foundations for the Carolinas, based in Charlotte NC.  You can make a donation of any size.  Funds from the endowment will support the mission of GHA. If you are interested in donating to the endowment or creating a special fund at The Foundation for the Carolinas for GHA, please contact Dawn Allen.
   

3. •Matching Gifts Programs are available from many employers, including:
   

• United Way - Be sure to write in GHA as you fill out a United Way donation card. This can be a payroll deduction from many companies.

• State Employees Combined Campaign - if you work for the State of North Carolina, you can make a donation through this campaign. This can be payroll deduction, cash or credit card. The campaign sign up is in the fall, with the deductions starting in January and going throughout the year.

• Shopping at your favorite stores

Food Lion

Go to foodlion.com. Click on 'In the Community" then click on 'Fundraising.' Go to 'Register my MVP card' and click 'Select Organization.' Box will come up for you to choose state (NC), City (Albemarle), and scroll down to 'Group Homes for the Autistic.' Then you will return to the main box and you will be asked to enter the 12 digit number from you Food Lion MVP card. You only have to register one time. The maximum donation per quarter from Food Lion to GHA is $350-but that adds up to $1400 a year!

Office Max

The number for GHA is #01280-9743. Present your MaxPerks Member ID card to the cashier every time you buy office supplies at OfficeMax. Shopping online, by fax or phone? Just provide your MaxPerks Member ID number at checkout.

Harris Teeter

GHA is eligible for the Together in Education (TIE) program through our classroom at Badin Elementary. The Harris Teeter Together in Education number is 6959.  Go to your local Harris Teeter and give this number to the clerk when you checkout, and a certain percentage of the sale of certain items (mostly Harris Teeter brands) will be donated to GHA. Tell all your friends and family about this program!

• IGive.com - GHA is registered on IGive.com. This is a website for on-line shopping and the merchants have agreed to rebate a certain percentage of the sale to a charitable cause. You can get a tax deduction for this amount - see the website for more information. Stores include Macy's, Kmart, JCPenny, Old Navy, Sears, QVC, Ralph Lauren, American Eagle, Bloomingdales, The Children's Place, SAKS, GAP, Banana Republic, Coldwater Creek, Lands End, Nordstrom, REI, The Limited Too, Bergdorf Goodman, Eddie Bauer, NBC, and Ebay, plus many, many more!
